Team News

Alan Rattray is a major loss to Forfar, who is extremely unlikely to make the starting line up after picking up a knock.

Kevin Byers is also out, after his red card against Airdrie United was classified as violent conduct.

There are a number of doubts, as the midweek action looks to be taking its toll. David Stewart, David McClune and Barry Sellars will all be given late fitness tests.

Paul Tosh is expected to continue his recovery and make the starting line-up, alongside Paul Shields.

Stenhousemuir are without Murray McDowell, who left the club last week to start a new life in Spain. However, John McVeigh has brought in Forfar's ex loan signing, Steve Mallan.

Other News

The last time Forfar visited Ochilview, Ray Stewart's troups came away with an impressive 4-1 victory over their hosts. A similar scoreline would be welcome, on the back of Tuesday's disappointment.

Stenhousemuir were able to release Colin Waldie, showing the depth of their midfield. One to watch will be free-kick specialist Mark Booth.

There will be no shortage of ex-Loons taking the field for Stenhousemuir on Saturday. Steve Mallan, Brian McCloy and Craig Tully are all on the Warriors' books.

Saturday's referee will be James Downie. He will be assisted by Euan Norris and Alan Hogg.
