Team News | Forfar Boss, Ray Stewart, has a full squad to choose from for tomorrow's
opening league fixture at Hamilton. Stewart told Loons Mad, "Kevin Byers and Simon Vella both played with the Reserves in midweek. They came through without any reaction and will be available for tomorrow." The fixture computer did give Forfar one of the toughest possible journeys but Stewart told said, "I know the people at Hamilton pretty well and the kind of formation they'll send out. But our lads are raring to go. The spirit is very good and the players know if they all work as hard as they can for 90 minutes they don't need to fear anybody in this Division." |
Other News | After last Saturday's cup victory over Elgin City, Forfar are eyeing up an ideal league start. Hamilton have a different set of players from last season. Brian Carrigan is one notable squad addition from new boss, Alan Maitland. Derek Ferguson is also on Accies' books. In the Bell's Division 2 game of the day, Airdrie United face Greenock Morton. The 3rd Division champions will be aiming to unfurl their flag in style against their supposed promotion rivals.
