Team News |
Forfar are still missing Paul Lunan and Alan Rattray for tomorrow's match. Scott Taylor is back to full fitness and youngster Kit Bremner could be given another chance to impress. Also in the running for a starting place are Kevin Byers and Darren Henderson. Both players will be leaving Station Park in the summer and could be given their chance to say goodbye to the home support. Hamilton are boosted by the return of Andy Arbuckle, controversial goalscorer Brian Carrigan and Todd Lumsden. Jose Quitongo has fully recovered after a recent injury. Jim Sherry serves the second match of a two game ban, whereas Steve Convery and Derek Ferguson are sidelined with long term injuries. |
Other News |
Forfar's season may be effectively over but that couldn't be further from the case for Hamilton. If the Accies win at Station Park, they would be all but guaranteed promotion to the second division. Even a draw would give Alan Maitland's side a good chance of going up, providing Morton don't take all three points from New Broomfield. Dumbarton still have an outside chance of getting in on the act. However, they need both Hamilton and Morton to slip up. Forfar have met Hamilton three times this season. The first match was a straight forward 2-1 victory for the Loons at New Douglas Park. The next meeting was slightly more controversial - with penalties, red cards and even a last minute winner (Forfar recorded a 4-3 victory). The final joust to date finished 2-1 in Hamilton's favour.
