Ray Stewart told The Forfar Dispatch: "It’s a derby match. Brechin City have proved in the past that they are quality opposition and they have strengthened again in the close season. But we have shown what we can do, and if we can continue to perform to such a standard we shouldn’t be afraid of any team."
Dick Campbell told the Brechin City Official Website: "We took a great support to Station Park on our last visit and I would be delighted to think we could do exactly that again. This is when the gloves really come off and the big ball comes out and I will do everything possible to ensure our players are well up for this one."
