Team News

Both sides are nearing full strength for tomorrow's Station Park tussle. Berwick Rangers could name an unchanged side from the one that beat Stenhousemuir last Saturday. The only slight doubts - Mark Cowan and Martin Neill - are both available for Paul Smith to select.

Forfar will be without long term injury victims Scott Taylor and Alan Rattray. However Ray Stewart is given a boost by the availability of Paul Tosh (following his three match suspension). Other recent injury victims Kevin Byers, David Lowing and Hugh Davidson are all fit. A back injury prevented Darren Henderson from playing on Tuesday, but he is expected to be back in the running for a starting slot.

Other News

Forfar and Berwick meet for the final time this season, with the Borderers edging the previous jousts by goal difference. Forfar were victorious in the first two matches (1-0 and 4-0 respectively), but Berwick hit back with a 5-1 win at Station Park and 3-1 victory at Shieldfield. There's been no shortage of goals when both sides have met.

Berwick are five points behind Forfar in the league table. Both sides have only pride and league positioning to play for - as promotion and relegation look unlikely. If Forfar equal or better Arbroath's result against East Fife then relegation is mathematically impossible. On the other hand, a Forfar defeat coupled with a Morton win over Alloa would rule out promotion.

Saturday's referee will be Craig McKay. He will be assisted by Keith Sorbie and Ian Elmslie.
