Team News |
Forfar go into the crucial SD2 match with a number of injury worries. David Lowing and Scott Taylor are certain absentees with long term injuries. Mathu King is suffering with a hamstring injury and Paul Lunan had to be substituted in last week's match due to dizziness, however both have a decent chance of being fit. |
Other News |
Saturday 12th March will see Forfar and Arbroath meet for the first time in four days, in what promises to be a thrilling derby double header. The first meeting between the Angus rivals, played at Gayfield, ended 0-0. The next match was set to take part over the festive period, but poor weather lead to the match being postponed (it will now take place next Tuesday). Arbroath are battling against relegation, whereas Forfar are sitting just outside the promotion places. The Lichties haven't scored a goal for a worrying 400 minutes. The Loons have notched up four wins from their last six outings. However, form trends and statistics go out the window for local derbies. Saturday's referee will be Ian Brines. He will be assisted by Gordon Middleton and Frederick Smith. For the Arbroath view, pay Red Lichties Mad a visit. |
