Team News

With Alan Rattray and Robbie Horn suspended Forfar Boss, Ray Stewart, has some major reconstruction to do in defence for the away trip to Arbroath. It's also likely further changes may be forced on him.

Speaking to Loons Mad from the golf course (8 over after 8 holes) Stewart said "Everybody trained last night (Thursday) but I won't know til later whether some of them will be showing reaction. There may be quite a few changes."

Stewart was clearly disappointed that the unbeaten start to the season hit the buffers at home against East Fife. "However it's how the players respond that I'll be looking at," he said. "That's what matters. Even as early as this there's only two teams undefeated in the League. We can't win all the games but if we go into every game with the right effort and attitude we should do well. If we win on Saturday we'll be able to put the East Fife slip-up behind us."

Other News

Forfar will be looking to bounce back from last week's disappointing defeat to East Fife - and they couldn't have a better opportunity to make it up to their loyal supporters.

The last meeting between the sides resulted in a 2-0 Forfar victory, with Paul Tosh capping a brillian performance with a brace. Prior to that, the sides were locked on 37 wins each in the fixtures history.

Saturday's referee will be Tom Brown. He will be assisted by Euan Norris and Alan Hogg.
